Requirements
Must:
- Back End Staff Engineer with proficient knowledge of software testing frameworks and strategies
- Proficient in CI/CD and associated release strategies
- Familiar with secure development strategies
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
- Knowledge of microservices patterns/framework
- Technical knowledge of Java or other JVM languages
- Experience with Angular or other JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with AWS
- Proven experience in contributing and influencing technical direction
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and provide effective engineering perspectives
- Experience in guiding, coaching, and mentoring colleagues
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of scalable, secure, and well-architected products and platforms to deliver exceptional outcomes efficiently
- Act as a multi-faceted leader, aligning with the long-term goals of the organization
- Engage in applied engineering to transform strategic direction into tangible technology solutions
- Oversee technical work across multiple development teams to enhance collaboration and clarity on progress
- Partner with engineering leaders to fulfill the divisions strategic direction and mentor engineers
- Conduct research on relevant technologies and identify opportunities for incorporation
- Address technical blockers and identify process improvements within the domain
- Guide and collaborate with the Developer Community to define software development standards
