Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience leading high-performing Platform/DevOps teams, including hybrid/offshore or partner resource models.
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD design and build using GitHub, Terraform, or similar.
- Experience supporting microservices / API-driven architectures.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, product-led organizations with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our cloud platform and enable rapid, secure product delivery at scale.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary platform function across CI/CD, networking, security, AIOps, and observability.
- Build a robust self-service platform that empowers engineering squads.
- Shape platform strategy and champion automation initiatives.
- Play an integral role in the development of future products and technology-led transformation.
Description
We are a fast-growing scale-up looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to expand our engineering capability after the launch of our flagship product. This key leadership role is essential for maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of our Google Cloud Platform estate. We offer a hybrid work model with two days per week in the office in Bradford and Leeds, a competitive salary of £85,000 to £95,000, a 15% bonus, and a range of benefits.
