Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years hands-on experience in developing and supporting business applications in an enterprise environment.
- Proven delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Strong knowledge and experience of supporting and maintaining a SQL database server environment and associated database management.
- Familiarity with client/server and web technologies, as well as experience in database administration.
- Technically proficient understanding of server infrastructure, networking infrastructure, and cyber security infrastructure.
- Ability to learn and pick up new technologies and skills quickly.
- Degree in an IT, computer science, or software development related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Take business requirements from conception to implementation utilizing the Uniface platform and the underlying SQL server infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve problems in a professional and timely manner, including providing 3rd line technical support.
Description
We are an organization based in Gravesend looking for an IT Software Engineer to join our small team. This role involves direct contact with stakeholders and users, working on our in-house Port Management system. We provide training for candidates with the right skill set and attitude.
