Requirements
Must:
- Typically at least 5 years of Application Support Management experience
- At least 2 years of project management experience
- Involvement and understanding of application delivery and process mapping
- Awareness of industry and professional standards
- Familiarity with integrated application environments, including Information Systems, CRM, and Virtual Learning Environments using cloud services
- Familiar with methodologies and project tools such as PRINCE2 and Microsoft Project
- Familiar with application development tools (e.g. Visual Studio)
- Knowledge of specified programming languages (e.g. .Net, SQL, C#)
- Understanding of integration techniques (e.g. API, service bus)
- Familiarity with methods and techniques for structured reviews
Responsibilities
- Understand product operation in detail and determine the project methodology and process for delivery of the applications
- Take ownership of the delivery of the implementation plan, including technical configuration of the product, desktop configuration, and network integration
- Facilitate resolution of operational problems and change requests
- Provide appropriate training and technical support
- Manage the application support incident queue to ensure timely resolution of escalated incidents
- Provide data management support, including rollover of the MIS and data updates
- Manage application updates covering communication across all departments
- Coordinate application updates and provision of operational support plans
Description
We are seeking an IT Applications Manager to join our team in a rural area near Thatcham. This is a Monday to Friday office-based role, and you will need your own transport. We offer a solid, permanent career within the IT industry and require candidates to undergo an enhanced DBS check upon successful application.
