Requirements
Must:
- Proven, at least 5 years of Applications, Database/Support Management experience
- 2 years project management experience
- Familiar with integrated application environments, including Information Systems, CRM (MIS), and Virtual Learning Environments using Azure services
- Familiar with methodologies and project tools such as PRINCE2 and Microsoft Project
- Familiar with specified high-level programming languages (e.g. Power Automate, PowerBI)
- Knowledge of integration techniques (e.g. API, Wonde)
- Must have full UK working rights
- Own transport required due to rural location
Responsibilities
- Manage the IT Applications to ensure a robust, reliable, and secure service is developed and maintained
- Provide data management support for identified applications and services
- Implement change and improvement for applications as required
- Manage and improve the service management framework for identified applications and associated software vendors
- Facilitate rapid resolution of application incidents
- Deliver applications services without significant failure or poor service performance
Description
We are seeking an IT Support Applications Manager to join our team near Thatcham. This is a sole management position that is heavily admin-based, requiring a dedicated individual with a drive for excellence in application management. The role is office-based Monday to Friday, and due to our rural location, candidates must have their own transport. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate. We are looking for someone who seeks a solid, permanent career within the IT industry.
