Must:
- 8 years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting business applications in an enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge and experience of supporting and maintaining a SQL database server environment
- Proficient understanding of server infrastructure, networking infrastructure, and cyber security infrastructure
- Excellent customer-service skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at various levels
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Degree in IT, computer science, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Work in a small team with direct contact with stakeholders and users
- Take business requirements from conception to implementation utilizing the Uniface platform and SQL server infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve problems in a professional and timely manner, including providing 3rd line technical support
Description
We are a client-based in Gravesend, looking for an IT Software Engineer/Dev to join our team. This position involves a hybrid work model with the expectation to be in the Gravesend/Kent area once or twice a week. We offer a good benefits package with a standard working week of Monday to Friday, typically 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm and flexible hours with an hour for lunch.
