Requirements
Must:
- 1-2 years of IT security experience
- Passion for IT Security
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN, Networking and Operating System concepts
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable IO, Nessus, Rapid7 IVM, Qualys)
- Knowledge of web scanning tools (e.g., AppSec, Tenable WAS, other DAST tools)
- Understanding of SIEM and intrusion detection tools (e.g., Rapid7 IDR, Logrythm, Splunk)
- Familiarity with web security solutions (e.g., Menlo, Websense, Netscope)
- Knowledge of packet capture methods
- Proficiency with security tools (e.g., nmap, sslscan, burpsuite, sqlmap, Metasploit)
- Experience with EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Cortex XDR)
- Knowledge of firewall management and security (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto)
- Understanding of PAM solutions (e.g., Thycotic)
- Knowledge of email security protocols (e.g., DMARC, DKIM, SPF, Mimecast)
- Familiarity with MDM and MAM solutions (e.g., InTune)
- Experience with SSO and MFA (e.g., Duo, Okta)
- Skills in programming and scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Understanding of WAF and DDoS protection
- Experience with web and application development
- Ability to work with security certificates from local and global CAs
- Understanding of CASB and SASE architectures
- Must pass a security background check
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Responsibilities
- Scan for vulnerabilities within the network and web applications
- Manage firewalls and mailbox security
- Check for internal security violations
- Collaborate with the IT Security Office and IT Team
- Actively engage in hands-on security tasks
- Participate in training and skill development
- Contribute to the implementation of security best practices
- Assist in maintaining documentation and reporting protocols
