Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for IT solutions. Candidates should have at least two years of IT or application support experience and the technical expertise necessary to hit the ground running. Key requirements include:
- 2 years troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- 2 years in customer-facing IT support
- Microsoft SQL Server experience
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Networking skills (TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, Wireshark, Netstat, etc.)
- Automation experience and exposure to APIs
- Telecommunications knowledge (desirable)
- RF troubleshooting (P25, TETRA, DMR LMR) (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
- Industry certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, CCNA, etc.) (desirable)
Responsibilities
In your role as an IT Application Support Analyst, you will handle various tasks to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling incoming support calls, logging and updating service tickets
- Providing remote and international on-site support using Genesis software
- Delivering installation, configuration, and training for new clients
- Troubleshooting application, reporting, and connectivity issues
- Carrying out routine system maintenance
- Building custom automation workflows using APIs, Rewst, Halo PSA, and more
- Optimising internal cloud platforms to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
- Collaborating on projects and updating client documentation
- Ensuring SLA response and resolution targets are met
- Providing outstanding customer service at all times
Description
This is an exciting opportunity with a competitive salary ranging from £42,000 to £45,000 per annum. The position is full-time, permanent, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with a mix of shifts. We offer funded training and professional certifications, 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 25 days with service), and flexible home-working options for late shifts post-probation. You will also have opportunities to travel internationally for training and client support.
