Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of Software/Data Engineering experience
- Demonstrable experience in delivering high availability across complex infrastructure
- Experience managing complex build systems (e.g., Bazel, Gradle, Pants) in a monorepo environment
- Proven track record of building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions
- Production experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (AWS ECS, Kubernetes)
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
- Experience managing core AWS services (e.g., ECS, ECR, IAM, VPC)
- Ability to identify reliability issues and cost-saving opportunities through effective monitoring
- Proficient in scripting and automation
- Experience with Git Ops
- Hands-on experience delivering Zero Trust infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve our core engineering infrastructure, including build system, deployment pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
- Serve as the go-to expert for build, deployment, and cloud infrastructure systems
- Collaborate closely with founders and software engineers in a small, friendly, international team
- Understand the technical needs of fellow engineers and architect solutions
- Deliver a reliable internal platform that enables the team to ship high-quality code faster and more safely
- Dive deep into our monorepo (Bazel) and cloud environment (AWS/Terraform) to solve complex challenges
- Empower fellow engineers by providing the necessary tools and infrastructure
