We are seeking a Solutions Architect with proven experience in collaborating with internal and third-party architects on governance, standards, and processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, a strategic long-term outlook, and be cost-conscious. You should be highly organized, results-driven, and capable of reviewing progress and adapting plans as necessary. A customer-focused mindset is essential, as we seek someone who anticipates and exceeds customer needs. Inspirational leadership skills are important, as you will need to influence, inspire, and lead others effectively, both independently and in teams.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will own and maintain technical architecture artifacts for Business and IT Platforms, encompassing AS-IS, TO-BE (Roadmaps), and transitional states across Infrastructure, Applications, and Integration Services. You will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Technology Heads to govern the lifecycle of our shared technology and infrastructure platforms. It is your responsibility to define and align technical standards, frameworks, tools, and patterns with enterprise architecture and peers, ensuring compliance with best practices. Furthermore, you will provide technical expertise, guidance, and assurance to developers and engineers to ensure consistency with agreed standards. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will identify and exploit opportunities that deliver significant business value.
Description
This is a permanent, full-time position with a base salary of up to £75K, located in Milton Keynes with a hybrid work model (50/50). We are a leading manufacturer in the industrial/commercial vehicle industry, and this role is integral to the technical design of our applications and platforms within the IT estate.
