We are looking for a candidate with proven experience of at least 7 years in a Senior Solutions Architect role or a similar position within a complex IT environment. An understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate is essential. Experience with cloud platforms, digital front-end and back-end applications, middleware, and system integration is required. Additionally, knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, identity and access management, and IT governance principles is important. Expertise in data architecture, analytics, and API standards is expected, along with familiarity with IT-OT solutions such as SCADA, ANM, and DERMS being a desirable asset. The candidate should possess strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, as well as experience managing relationships with technology vendors.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives and strategy. You will lead the design and implementation of enterprise solutions and develop technology roadmaps across multiple domains. Providing guidance on architectural best practices is a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with organizational standards. I will rely on you to serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with business units, project teams, and external partners to enhance technology adoption and optimization. You will evaluate the existing technology landscape, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to boost performance, security, and compliance. Your role will also include assessing and recommending emerging technologies that support our strategic objectives. Ensure that the proposed solutions adhere to architectural principles, security frameworks, and compliance standards during implementation. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining architecture diagrams, system specifications, and technical documentation while translating technology roadmaps into actionable work packages to support agile development and deliver iterative value. Finally, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects, fostering their skill development across strategy and delivery.
