Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of commercial experience in full stack development of production software using C# and .NET. You should be proficient in web technologies such as HTML and CSS. A strong proficiency in C# and SQL Server is essential, including the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance. Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure is also preferred. Excellent communication skills are necessary, as you will need to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. We value a proactive, self-starter attitude and someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment. Please note that all applicants must be based in the UK and be able to commute to Sevenoaks three days a week, as we do not offer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance software solutions within our growing technology team. Your day-to-day work will involve developing and maintaining applications using C#, ensuring seamless integration with the database layer. You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable C# code that works well with SQL Server databases. Additionally, you will design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, which includes writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers. You will actively participate in code reviews via GitHub pull requests, with a particular focus on database-related changes to ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.
