Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance
- Previous experience working within a Government Organization, specifically focusing on Security Assurance and embedding Secure by Design (SbD) principles
- Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-wide Security Assurance frameworks and guidance aligned to ISO 27001, CAF, and SbD principles
- Proven ability to lead security risk assessments and third-party testing, managing remediation actions, and ensuring the consistent application of assurance methodologies
- Experience overseeing governance and compliance processes, along with the capability to provide analysis and reporting to assess security maturity and support strategic decision-making
- Skills in authoring and implementing security policies and standards, integrating controls and secure configurations across systems and processes
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and suppliers to embed assurance requirements, monitor compliance, and build organizational security capability
Responsibilities
- Support Security Assurance efforts to ensure that Secure by Design (SbD) is embedded and aligned with the CAF Framework
- Lead security risk assessments and oversee third-party testing to ensure effective remediation actions
- Manage governance and compliance processes, providing essential analysis and reporting to assess security maturity
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and standards, ensuring the integration of controls across various systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure compliance with assurance requirements and to strengthen overall security capabilities
Description
This position is for a Contract Security Architect role with an attractive day rate of £600-£650, outside of IR35, for an initial duration of 10 months. The role will require travel to Central London one day a week. We are looking for an experienced professional who can effectively contribute to our security assurance initiatives and help enhance our organizational security posture.
