Requirements

Must:
- Extensive experience within the Salesforce platform technology stack - Strong soft skills with the ability to operate effectively at the enterprise level - Experience in greenfield Salesforce implementations - Ability to act as a Programme Architect and support customer engagement as needed - Familiarity with Salesforce Trailhead and certifications is essential - Proven track record of driving change and improving ways of working - Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, adjusting language and tone accordingly - Commitment to quality and open documentation to facilitate team collaboration and knowledge sharing - Effective leadership and influence over teams and team members - Capable of presenting complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner - Experience in Product Management and Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban - Competence with modern work management and documentation tools like Confluence, Jira, and GitHub - Certified in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Archimate) is desirable - Certifications in Salesforce platform technology are preferred - Exposure to ITIL Framework and processes in a corporate IT environment is essential, with certification being desirable

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the Platform/Product Owner(s) in end-to-end ownership of the platform - Develop and own the platform architecture and associated roadmap aligned with business strategies and requirements - Provide architectural and design assurance and governance for all platform changes - Ensure non-functional needs are specified and met throughout the platform's lifecycle - Guide internal and 3rd party platform engineers and developers in delivering platform features and functionalities - Ensure the design, delivery, and documentation of integrations with the platform align with enterprise best practices - Document and manage platform technical debt - Provide guidance on platform capabilities, products, and the impacts of change delivery to broader technical and business stakeholders - Maintain high-quality platform documentation - Suggest and champion innovative ideas and solutions for the platform

Description


We are a leading company in the housebuilding industry seeking a Platform Architect with extensive Salesforce experience to work on a greenfield Salesforce deployment program. You will work closely with a 3rd party vendor to deliver an effective solution while managing the relationship and ensuring alignment with our company standards and vision. You will own the design of the platform to ensure successful and sustainable delivery. This role involves accountability for the technology direction of the platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and Digital Product teams, leveraging platform capabilities such as SalesCloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service. The position is permanent and based in London, with a remote/hybrid working model (travel to London twice a month). The salary for this role is £110K, plus benefits.
