Requirements
Must:
- Experience with VMware, virtual servers, and Dell VSAN environments
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory and backup tools like Veeam
- Ability to configure VLANs and troubleshoot DNS
- Strong customer experience and support skills in an ITIL environment
- Strong prioritization skills and clear communication
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain virtualized environments (VMware, ESX, VX Rail)
- Manage Active Directory, backups (Veeam), storage (Dell VSAN), and DNS
- Set up and configure VMs, VLAN networking, and Azure infrastructure
- Perform daily system checks and ensure backup reliability
- Keep infrastructure documentation sharp and systems audit-ready
- Transition between support tasks and high-priority projects efficiently
Description
We are looking for a detail-driven IT Systems Administrator to join our globally recognized brand. You will play a key role in both day-to-day operations and project delivery across servers, storage, backups, and Active Directory. If you take ownership, thrive in a busy environment, and love engaging with both BAU and project work, this could be the perfect role for you. We offer a competitive salary between £55,000 - £60,000, along with benefits, for a 4-day onsite work week in Leicester.
