Functional Test Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. You will execute functional, regression, and system integration tests to validate software functionality and performance. Collaborating with developers and product owners, you will design effective and robust testing strategies. Additionally, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast and continuous feedback. Identifying opportunities to expand test automation coverage and improve test efficiency will also be part of your duties. You will participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Working closely with development teams, you will ensure timely and efficient test execution in an Agile environment, while providing continuous quality feedback and promoting testing best practices. Lastly, you will identify, log, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
