Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven hands-on experience in AWS cloud services across multiple production environments. You should have demonstrable experience delivering at least one project using Amazon Connect and strong programming skills in Python, particularly in building automation, tooling, or integrations in cloud environments. A solid practical knowledge of AWS infrastructure—including EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, IAM, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch—is essential. We value a background in architecting and building scalable, secure cloud-native applications, as well as proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging is also necessary. You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Any exposure to contact centre technology or customer engagement platforms will be considered highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and implement robust cloud solutions that focus on high availability, security, and scalability. You will take ownership of integrating and optimizing AWS Connect within our existing infrastructure. Developing automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline cloud operations and deployment processes will be a key part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Owners—will also be expected. You will maintain clear documentation and ensure that infrastructure complies with best practices and security standards. Additionally, monitoring and troubleshooting production environments to drive improvements in performance and resilience will be essential. You will also provide guidance and mentorship on AWS best practices across the team.
Description
This position offers a day rate of £500 – £550 (Outside IR35) and spans a duration of 6 months. You will be required to work in-office one day per month (UK-wide), though we fully consider remote work for the right candidate.
