Requirements
Must:
- Experience of creating database queries and reports using MS Access, SQL Server, Crystal Reports, PowerBI and Excel
- Technical knowledge and/or experience with Active Directory, NTFS Permissions, general network principles, Microsoft Cloud (i.e. Azure/Exchange Office 2016/365) and Windows Server (2012 to 2019)
- Previous experience in a business reporting or IT support role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a can do attitude
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
- Understanding of the need for client focus and confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Provide all levels of IT support from basic printer and desktop application support to server & infrastructure maintenance
- Create and provide regular and ad-hoc business reports and management information using SQL queries, MS Access, and Crystal Reports
- Maintain documentation of IT processes and keep logs of administrative actions
- Ensure up-to-date asset logs and that Desktop PCs are fully patched and secure
- Provide support and technical assistance to staff regarding network, PC, printer, and telephone issues
- Assist clients & suppliers using LPC Law systems with troubleshooting
- Create new user accounts in Active Directory and set up profiles with appropriate permissions
- Support the Head of IT with testing developments to our bespoke Instruction Management System
- Manage the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the companys IT systems
- Identify improvements to processes within the IT department and the wider business

Our practice areas include insolvency, consumer credit, housing, and personal injury, serving clients from individuals to blue chip companies. This full-time position involves being part of a 2-person IT team supporting approximately 50 staff and over 300 self-employed legal professionals. We offer a competitive salary with a pay rate up to £36,691.20 per year and expect our team members to work collaboratively while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
