Requirements
Must:
- Frontend development experience through a commercial role, apprenticeship or placement year
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with a modern frontend framework (React/Angular preferred, but not essential)
- Good understanding of HTML and CSS / SCSS
- Willingness to learn backend development
- Ability to independently problem solve, but also the temperament to work collaboratively within a team
- Experience with C# or backend development (desirable but not essential)
- A relevant degree (desirable but not essential)
- Full, clean driving licence (desirable but not essential)
Responsibilities
- Developing new features and enhancements for our LiveSpace digital signage platform
- Building modern frontend applications using Angular and React
- Contributing to backend development using C#
- Working on bespoke development tasks for customer requirements and internal projects
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Creating unit tests and automated end-to-end tests
- Using source control to manage and maintain code effectively
- Working within an Agile environment and participating in team meetings
- Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners
- Contributing across the full software development lifecycle
Description
We are a market leading organization providing digital signage and screen display products to a diverse range of clients. Our solutions manage over 56,000 screens every day. We offer mentorship and support from experienced engineers, with opportunities to work on real features used by actual customers. Our team environment is friendly, supportive, and collaborative, with the chance to develop full-stack skills and progress into a senior software developer position. This role is based in Stonehouse, requiring three days in the office per week, with a salary range of £28k-£40k depending on experience.
