IT Support Technician

As our IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for: - Overseeing the maintenance and administration of the school's IT networks and cloud-based services. - Providing high-level technical support to all users across the College, both academic and administrative. - Acting as an escalation point for complex issues and deputizing for the IT Services Manager when required. - Distributing ICT consumables and managing IT assets effectively. - Utilizing the service management system for problem investigation, implementation of solutions, and user communication throughout support processes. - Managing user accounts within Active Directory and implementing user environments using relevant software. - Proactively monitoring and maintaining College systems in alignment with established plans. - Ensuring all new equipment warranties are registered and IT asset registers are maintained. - Assisting in the procurement of IT equipment and liaising with third-party suppliers and vendors for licensing requirements. - Diagnosing and repairing hardware and supporting all school software applications. - Managing and implementing security policies and collaborating with the IT team & MSP.
