Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with at least 3 years of backend engineering experience, ideally with a focus on distributed systems or infrastructure. You should have exposure to high-velocity startups and understand the transition from scrappy MVPs to robust systems. Strong system design skills are essential, as I value engineers who can take problems end-to-end rather than just handing off parts. It would be a bonus if you have experience managing LLM infrastructure at scale. Additionally, you should be pragmatic, resourceful, and comfortable operating autonomously within lean teams. Most importantly, you should be excited to work onsite in Soho, London, with a team dedicated to building something exceptional.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be one of the first Backend Engineers focused on our platform and infrastructure. Your tasks will include building core systems capable of handling tens of millions of lines of code and large-scale LLM workloads. You will take ownership of significant pieces of the architecture, from job orchestration to APIs, infrastructure, and developer tooling. Your work will make product teams more efficient by building reliable and well-designed infrastructure that scales effectively. You’ll also be responsible for managing complex LLM infrastructure, including real-time usage and token routing. Raising the quality bar across the board—covering observability, authentication, reliability, and more—will be a key part of your role.

My tech stack includes Kotlin, TypeScript, Terraform, Azure/AWS/GCP, Temporal, Postgres, graph databases, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, as well as containerized development environments and CI/CD pipelines.
