Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with extensive experience as a network engineer, preferably with a background in Cisco network projects. You should have the capability to work under the direction of a team lead, particularly in remote configuration of hardware. Candidates must possess the ability to build, configure, and harden Juniper switches following build guides, as well as build and configure Gigamon physical devices and connect/onboard them to the Gigavue FM Management server. A strong attention to detail, good communication skills to interact with peers, management, and customers, and a positive and proactive attitude are essential. Experience working with large government customers is also required. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary due to the nature of customer activities.
Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will be responsible for installing hardware within customer racks, providing remote support of hardware during customer testing, and offering progress updates to the project manager and team lead. Additionally, you will engage with service teams to ensure the effective transition of new hardware into support. We value collaboration and expect you to develop positive working relationships with other project teams while working towards shared goals.
