Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to have a strong working knowledge of OSI layers 1-7, along with the ability to apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems across all networking disciplines.
- Experience in supporting Cisco WLAN Controllers, SSID, and Access Points is essential.
- Candidates should be proficient in implementing and troubleshooting Firewalls, Security, VPNs, NAT policy, and Software Patch management.
- It is necessary to have experience in configuring and troubleshooting routing & switching protocols, specifically in setting up and troubleshooting OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STPs, VRF, MC-LAG, FHRP, DMVPN, and NAT Policy.
- A solid understanding of LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN concepts (including wireless LAN) is required, with experience in supporting enterprise-class routers and switches within a global network environment.
- Experience with Internal and External DNS, IPAM, DHCP for IP management is also needed.
- Candidates should have experience in implementing and troubleshooting F5 LTM administration, including SSL Certificate renewal, iRules creation, Software Upgrade, and Patching.
- I seek individuals with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet reasonable deadlines, especially in high-severity incident management and vendor management.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to monitor the performance and capability of the network using various tools, identifying hardware and software malfunctions, and responding to alerts.
- You will need to triage or troubleshoot issues and incidents within defined areas, following Standard Operating Manuals and coordinating with third-party vendors and other IT teams to implement solutions.
- Building strong relationships with customers and other support departments will be a key part of your role.
- Proactive analysis is vital, as you will review and analyze data from Network Monitoring Tools to identify the best courses of action to avert potential crises.
- You will be responsible for testing and implementing software patches and firmware for network and security devices.
- Vendor or supplier coordination will be part of your daily tasks, and effective communication will be crucial.
