Requirements
Must:
- I require a good understanding of Exchange 2013 or the latest versions.
- I expect candidates to have a good understanding of Communication LCS / OCS / LYNC.
- A background in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server versions 2003/2007/2010 and SharePoint Designer is essential.
- Knowledge of architectural design, web parts, management, and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying, and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations is necessary.
- In-depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence is needed.
- SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer workflows and effective use of the data view web part, content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization.
- A solid understanding of Active Directory (including Forest/Domain Architecture, Replication, Disaster Recovery) is required.
- I seek a good understanding of ISA.
- Knowledge of Exchange Components, including Exchange Database, Outlook Web Access, Offline Address List, Mail Flow, Public Folders, and Free/Busy, is essential.
- Familiarity with Exchange Architecture Services that run on Exchange 2007/2010 Server Roles (Edge, Hub, CAS & Mailbox) is expected.
- An understanding of Backup Applications and methods for backing up and restoring Exchange Database and configurations is necessary.
- I look for a good understanding of Exchange Gateway products, such as Brightmail and IMSS.
- Knowledge of MS Cluster on Exchange 2003 and hands-on experience with High Availability Features (CCR, SCC, SCR & LCR) is required.
- I desire good knowledge of collaborating applications (BlackBerry, OCS, UM, etc.).
- Extensive experience with Windows core infrastructure services like Active Directory, DNS/DDNS/WINS, and DHCP services is essential.
- Working knowledge of RAS/VPN, Web Servers, Clusters, and backup/restore processes is a must.
- Knowledge of Server Hardware/RAID, SAN, and Backup Applications is required.
- I expect a good understanding of upgrading, transitioning, and migrating Exchange to the latest version.
- Familiarity with Exchange Tools for troubleshooting, monitoring, and fine-tuning Exchange is necessary, including Exchange Best Practice Analyzer Report, Exchange Performance Troubleshooter Analyzer, and MPS Report.
- Demonstrated experience in ITIL best practices methodologies is desirable.

Responsibilities
I need you to support the DV 4th Line Exchange environment and ensure the optimal performance of our Exchange systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions effectively. This includes managing Exchange Database, Mail Flow, and Public Folders while collaborating alongside a team to maintain and enhance our SharePoint implementations. You will also be expected to engage with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services and provide support for users as necessary.
Description
This is a full-time onsite position located in Basingstoke, with occasional travel to London. The role is inside IR35, and the rate is negotiable. The initial duration is 6 months, with a view for extensions based on performance and project needs. Given the nature and urgency of this role, we highly encourage candidates with high-level security clearance to apply. Successful applicants will be required to undergo security clearance, which may take a minimum of 18 weeks.
