Requirements
Must:
- I have experience in Commvault administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- I possess knowledge of (preferably) Commvault Hyperscale solutions.
- I have the ability to architect and implement a complete new Commvault solution from scratch.
- I understand IntelliSnap and its integration with block storage arrays.
- I can integrate Commvault with RMAN for Oracle Databases.
- I have hands-on experience with Commvault performance tuning and optimization.
- I am knowledgeable about Commvault disaster recovery solutions.
- I have experience with Commvault data migration and upgrade projects.
- I am familiar with Commvault Command Center and other monitoring tools.
- I understand Commvault licensing and compliance requirements.
- I possess strong documentation skills using Confluence, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- I have strong abilities in using the Commvault reporting suite, preferably with the capability to create custom reports.
- I have experience working in a finance background with adherence to strong change management practices.
- I have 8-10 years of experience in Commvault administration.
Responsibilities
- I will understand functional requirements and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- I will have a good understanding of traditional Data Centre architecture as well as automation technologies.
- I will handle and troubleshoot Commvault systems effectively.
- I will implement Commvault disaster recovery solutions.
- I will work on Commvault data migration and upgrade projects.
- I will utilize Commvault Command Center and other monitoring tools to ensure system functionality.
- I will demonstrate analytical and problem management skills.
- I will coach less experienced staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Description
We operate in a hybrid work environment with 60% office presence and 40% remote work, located in HSBC Sheffield. The position is for a contractor role until 30/11/2025 initially and is offered via an umbrella company.
