Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a confidential and security conscious environment (e.g., Police, Military, Civil Service, Critical National Infrastructure)
- Working knowledge of secure transportation methods
- Knowledge of firearms, ordnance munitions, and explosives related to security requirements
- Understanding of fire arms legislation
- Familiarity with security systems (e.g., CCTV, IDS, PIDS, EACS) applicable to building and vehicle protection
- Investigation management skills
Responsibilities
- Identify and recommend robust physical security controls, standards, and procedural measures for all facilities
- Provide daily tactical leadership and expert guidance on protective security
- Monitor and oversee the implementation of security policies and protocols
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers and external security partners
- Collaborate with operational management teams to execute and assess security operations
- Deliver clear and accurate reporting on security risks
- Support the assessment and selection of risk mitigation and security enhancement solutions
- Conduct investigations to gather information and identify root causes of security events
- Apply emergency procedures to minimize impacts during security incidents
Description

You will be part of a supportive environment with a comprehensive handover from our outgoing manager. As our Security Manager, you will have a pivotal role in safeguarding our people, assets, and operations. This position is site-based in Telford, with some travel required for meetings at additional locations in the North.
