Requirements
Must:
- Full (Manual) UK Driving Licence is essential
- An understanding of IT Hardware is a definite advantage but not essential
- A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
- A punctual and thorough work ethic, with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills (in person and via telephone) - excellent written and spoken English is essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism due to regular face-to-face contact with customers
- Flexibility to support other teams and departments, demonstrating dedication
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths / English (grade 4/C), and IT (preferred but not essential)
- A genuine interest in IT, technology, and problem-solving
- No previous commercial experience required—just passion, curiosity, and a willingness to grow
- Ability to travel to Chertsey for work; working hours 9.00am – 5.00pm or 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday (variable depending on client needs) with 6 hours per week allocated for studying.
Responsibilities
- Configuring laptops and PCs at the Krome warehouse
- Installing hardware including laptops, printers, PCs, monitors, servers, and racks
- Decommissioning hardware and office equipment
- Project involvement with some of our blue-chip clients
