Systems Analyst

- Conduct a deep analysis of requirements while taking a product-centric approach and considering the systems perspective. Capture these to inform user story creation. - Own and drive the creation of clear, deliverable, and testable Jira user stories and acceptance criteria that satisfy client and product expectations, supported by detailed Confluence documentation. - Collaborate with the engineering team, including full-stack engineers, DevOps engineers, QA automation engineers, and manual testers, to ensure user stories meet or exceed client and product owner expectations. - Engage with the CEO, Chief Product Officer, and Product Manager to understand the product direction. - Attend client meetings and workshops as needed to gain an understanding of specific client use cases, demonstrating knowledge of the application and supporting a productized solution. - Use appropriate soft skills to probe, understand, clarify, and challenge stakeholders’ thinking and needs. - Support product taxonomy definition and the selection and implementation of AI/ML tools and techniques in collaboration with the CTO, AI/ML Lead, and Solutions Architect. - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, and end-of-sprint retrospectives. - Ensure user stories are independent, valuable, and deliverable, enabling efficient workflow through the engineering process. - Champion the ongoing maturity and automation of our technology delivery, removing friction from the end-to-end product engineering process while maintaining governance processes as required by our largest Financial Services clients. - Actively contribute to and thrive in our dynamic startup/scaleup environment, supporting a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation while embracing technology to maximize efficiency. Lead by example and encourage compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, as well as company standards and policies.
