Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or masters degree in engineering or science related fields (e.g., Network Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Management Information Systems, Quality Assurance)
- 3+ years experience in test automation
- Programming, system administration, or database administration experience is a plus
- UFT/QTP certification
- ISTQB qualification for Automation
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright (preferably with C# language)
- Familiarity with Protractor
- Knowledge of Cucumber/SpecFlow (desirable)
- Proficiency in Appium, Calabash
- Experience with Robot Framework
- Familiarity with SoapUI/Postman
- Use of Git for source code management and control on a Git repository (e.g., Github, Bitbucket, TFS)
- Proficiency in HTML & CSS
- Familiarity with XML & JSON
- Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Team City
Responsibilities
- Participate in a test automation tool selection process for an automated component testing harness
- Engage in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents
- Develop and execute automated tests using the selected tool (programming likely required in Selenium, Playwright with C#)
- Perform static analysis of source code using complexity metrics
- Communicate testing activities and findings effectively in oral and written formats
- Integrate test suites into the test management tool
- Participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis
- Implement and develop automated test practices for both web and mobile
- Design and create test scripts covering database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability for implementation
- Lead the analysis, design, development, and ongoing maintenance of complex automated tests and automation architecture for multiple products, aligning with market needs
- Develop an end-to-end automation strategy
