Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform or Bicep.
- Essential Azure Certifications: AZ-104 and AZ-900. Desirable: AZ-700 and AZ-305.
- Demonstrable experience in Azure cloud server management, networking, app gateways, and landing zones.
- Proficiency with Azure Management aspects such as VMs, NSG rules, and storage accounts to facilitate gradual migration to the cloud.
- Strong ability to create and maintain technical documentation with attention to detail.
- Desirable: Some prior on-premises experience with physical servers (Windows 2012-2019), virtualization (Hyper-V), and backup maintenance (Veeam) would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Terraform.
- Support Azure infrastructure components including VMs, networking, storage, Intune, and hybrid endpoints.
- Collaborate with the team on cloud migration projects, focusing on automation and scalability.
- Utilize IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) in daily activities.
- Implement Azure governance, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Provide on-premises support for systems involving Windows Server, Hyper-V, and backups as part of the legacy workload migration.
Description
We are a high-growth business looking to expand our team to support our Azure cloud transformation over the next 12 months. You will join a small and friendly infrastructure team, helping to deliver a wide range of projects while ensuring our on-premises systems remain stable during this transition. We offer a largely remote work environment with only one day per month required on-site at the Essex/London borders and a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000, along with exceptional benefits.
