Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a forward-thinking technical leader with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex hybrid or cloud infrastructure solutions. You should possess strong technical capabilities, complemented by a collaborative mindset and the ability to translate technical vision into business impact. Additionally, we would like you to have:
- Proven experience in designing and migrating hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
- Expertise in cloud technologies (preferably Azure) and infrastructure modernization.
- A strong understanding of cloud security architectures and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, or public cloud provider qualifications (highly desirable).
- Experience within the higher education or public sector environment (advantageous but not essential).
Responsibilities
As our Cloud & Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in our major digital transformation journey. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Architecting and delivering secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure solutions that integrate cloud, on-premise, and legacy systems.
- Assessing and documenting existing infrastructure to inform long-term migration and optimization roadmaps.
- Embedding security by design principles into all infrastructure planning and delivery.
- Advising leadership on hybrid cloud strategy and aligning solutions with broader digital transformation goals.
- Collaborating across teams to modernize services, streamline operations, and promote innovation.
- Supporting sustainability and resilience, ensuring solutions contribute to environmental goals and business continuity.
