Must:
- Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or Principal Software Engineer
- Strong technical leadership skills
- Hands-on experience with engineering delivery
- FinCrime experience within a bank or fintech environment (AML, sanctions, etc.)
- Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies
- Familiarity with the tech stack (Python, Django, TypeScript, GCP, AWS, CI/CD, TDD) is a plus but not essential
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
- Engage in active engineering delivery and hands-on development
- Facilitate collaboration within the team to encourage knowledge sharing
- Help implement best practices in software development
- Assist in adapting new technologies as needed
- Support and mentor junior engineers
Description
We are a London-based fintech that enables businesses to manage international money-related tasks, particularly in cross-border payments, foreign exchange (FX), and financing solutions. This role is based in London, with a flexible working arrangement of four days in the office and one day remote each week.
