Must:
- Currently undertaking a degree in Information Technology, Computing, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong interest in enterprise IT systems and technology
- Capable of independent research and training to gain knowledge in a fast-moving IT world
- Good problem-solving skills with a methodical approach
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned work
Responsibilities
- Assist with providing first access issues via the IT service desk
- Assist with user setup, starters/leavers, account permissions, and device configuration
- Escalate complex issues appropriately and work alongside team members to resolve
- Support day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot)
- Assist with SharePoint site management, permissions, and document governance
- Keep intranet up to date and assist with development of intranet
- Assist with Microsoft Copilot rollout and AI development initiatives
- Assist with testing and roll-out of system updates and new technology deployments
- Assist with testing, documenting, and supporting automated business processes
- Work with the IT team on data-driven and AI-related initiatives, including proof-of-concepts and internal tools
- Create and maintain clear IT documentation, user guides, and process notes
- Assist with improving internal IT processes and service delivery
- Contribute ideas for improving system usability, efficiency, and automation
