Requirements
Must:
- Degree in a related field (such as Computer Science, Statistics, or similar) preferred but not mandatory
- Advanced certifications in AI/ML, cloud computing, or data engineering are a bonus
- Strong background in AI/ML, developing and deploying generative AI solutions at scale
- Proven experience with foundational Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT and BERT
- Expertise in AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), cloud-native solutions, and tools like Databricks and Snowflake
- Strong background in cloud services and deploying scalable AI solutions in production environments
- Experience managing a wide range of stakeholders in complex situations
- Proficient in designing, coding, and optimizing generative AI models
- Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms, model optimization, and deploying scalable solutions in cloud environments
- Experience with version control (Git), Linux, Docker, and data engineering tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Elasticsearch
- Strong problem-solving, team collaboration, and communication skills
- Business Development experience in a commercial environment or through selling ideas is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead AI Transformations, driving large-scale generative AI transformation projects across the organization and clients
- Ensure seamless adoption of AI solutions that address critical business challenges
- Provide AI thought leadership to business stakeholders, advising on AI strategy, roadmap, and integration of generative AI technologies
- Lead a team of AI engineers and data scientists, mentoring junior team members and ensuring best practices are followed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect scalable AI systems
- Create Proof of Concept, deliver Minimal Viable Products, or fully-fledged projects, and deploy models into production
- Work closely with business teams and clients to demonstrate the potential of AI and assess feasibility for solving challenges
- Lead feasibility studies, develop data strategies, support RFP responses, and demo to clients
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations regarding AI models and data processing
- Implement best practices in data privacy, security, and ethical AI, particularly for sensitive data
- Contribute to KPMG’s knowledge on deploying fair and transparent AI models
- Stay updated with advancements in AI, ML, and LLMs, applying new methodologies to improve model performance
- Conduct research into new AI use cases and innovate to enhance KPMG’s offerings
- Publish findings and contribute to internal documentation, presenting insights at industry conferences
