Requirements
Must:
- Senior IT Architect with a strong track record of defining and delivering IT Architectures in a complex environment
- Exceptional technical delivery skills for large scale project and programme management
- Deep hands-on technical experience across a combination of package and bespoke system implementation
- Knowledge of the Insurance sector in one or more areas: General Insurance, Health, Life, London Markets (Carriers, Brokers, Underwriting, Lloyds, MGAs)
- Significant experience in enterprise architecture and technology within the financial services sector
- High energy levels with a desire to deliver to a high standard in a suitable timeframe
- Practical experience in large scale, enterprise wide, complex transformations, providing technical leadership throughout the lifecycle
- Experience of using EA tooling
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery of complex programmes and large projects, including planning, managing, and executing delivery engagements
- Provide technical leadership in delivering high quality strategy and technology architecture work throughout the software delivery lifecycle
- Maintain excellent communication skills with client-facing stakeholder management
- Stay updated on enterprise architecture methodologies, such as TOGAF, and market trends
- Apply architecture principles to application, data, and infrastructure components as part of overall enterprise architecture
- Lead and contribute to proposals and sales activity
- Contribute to the development of a vibrant technology capability
