Requirements
Must:
- I require proven experience in a 2nd Line Desktop Support or similar IT support role.
- I am looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in rebuilding and configuring laptops and desktops.
- A good knowledge of Windows 10/11 environments is essential.
- Familiarity with general desktop management and basic software deployment tools is necessary.
- Exposure to SCCM is a plus but not essential.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills are a must.
- The ability to work effectively in an onsite, fast-paced environment is important.
Responsibilities
- I need you to provide 2nd line technical support for end users, resolving escalated incidents and service requests.
- You will be responsible for rebuilding, configuring, and deploying laptops and desktops to our company standards.
- Performing hardware diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades as required will be part of your role.
- Assisting with software installations, updates, and general device management will be expected.
- I expect you to maintain accurate records of work carried out, including asset tracking and documentation.
- You will collaborate closely with the wider IT team to ensure efficient issue resolution and service delivery.
Description
We are Khuda Technology, and we are seeking a skilled 2nd Line Desktop Engineer to join our client’s team on a 3-month contract based onsite in Carlisle. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support with a strong focus on rebuilding and configuring laptops, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting general desktop management.
