Requirements
Must:
- Current high level technical vehicle diagnostic experience
- Electric vehicle (EV) current high level vehicle diagnostic experience
- Knowledge of vehicle homologation and compliance processes (desirable)
- Knowledge of automotive parts look-up systems (KGM EPC) (desirable)
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturers warranty processes (desirable)
- Minimum of Level 3 City and Guilds Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum of IMI Level 3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong level of ability with Microsoft Office software
- Strong time management skills
- Professional appearance and manner
Technologies
Responsibilities
- Manage and process all technical enquiries submitted via the online system and record responses
- Responsible for the daily processing of dealer parts look-up support requests
- Continuously improve technical and dealer support systems and processes
- Support the relationship with the KGM factory regarding technical advice, support, recalls and bulletins
- Provide technical support to our Bristol import centre
- Conduct occasional off-site visits to dealerships and our Bristol import centre for in-person technical support
- Liaise with the field team and other departments regarding technical and parts matters
- Perform ad hoc duties as required and assist other team members during busy periods
