Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS and Server OS
- Experience with Office 365 and Hybrid Domain
- Knowledge of ERP and Service Desk environment (incident, request, change enablement, problem management)
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools, SD WAN, managing switches and routers, and wireless networks
- Solid understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-focused attitude
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel to other business or supplier locations
- Full driving license required
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, and chat
- Log, triage, and manage incidents and requests in the ITSM system
- Provide basic to advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining ownership
- Support workstation setup, user onboarding, and account management
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve incidents and improve services
- Document solutions and contribute to knowledge base updates
- Assist with system maintenance tasks and root cause analysis
- Mentor junior analysts and support service desk process improvements
Description
We are K.A.G. Recruitment, partnering exclusively with a leading logistics solutions provider to hire an IT Support Technician for their Grimsby office, with occasional site travel. This role operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering up to £33k depending on experience.
