Requirements
Must:
- Proven track record in IT support and project management with a solid foundation in Microsoft technologies
- Strong technical background in networking (switch/router configuration, cabling), server management, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and domain management tools
- Experience leading teams and delivering digital transformation initiatives
- Problem-solving mindset capable of adapting to change and driving improvements
- Eager to lead, motivate, and collaborate within a manufacturing setting
- Qualifications or knowledge in ITIL, demonstrating a structured approach to IT service management
- Full UK driving license and access to personal transport
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth running of all IT services on site while developing the existing onsite IT team
- Drive the site forward by managing multiple high-impact projects
- Maintain proactive and preventative strategies to minimize downtime
- Oversee bespoke applications on the factory floor for precise product tracing and labeling
- Ensure the IT infrastructure is resilient and secure
- Lead continuous development initiatives, enhancing user benefits of digital tools
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans aligned with business continuity goals
- Document and address IT challenges efficiently and effectively
