Requirements
Must:
- Be confident in customer service.
- Demonstrate technical and mechanical understanding.
- Display confident computer skills, being able to use all Microsoft Office packages.
- Be able to drive as will be visiting customers on site.
- Show excellent people skills, being supportive at all times.
- Some customer service experience is essential.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift parts (up to approx. 12 kg).
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for all technical enquiries, including from telephone and email.
- Conduct onsite technical training for customers and occasionally internal staff.
- Provide advice, information, or solutions for faults, replacing or upgrading parts.
- Source part numbers and program products.
- Organise collection and return of parts.
- Take apart faulty products using computer diagnostics to find problems and fix them.
- Support the Sales Manager in all technical aspects of tender bids and contract maintenance.
- Assist with preparation for exhibitions and trade shows.
Description
Based in Bicester, we are a world leader in our industry and a growing business. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our warehouse team in Technical Support. Our hours of work are 09:00-17:30, Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary starting at £28,000 per annum, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and the opportunity for full product training.
