Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge in creating WordPress-based websites.
- Exposure to server-side JavaScript and APIs.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript features (ES6+).
- Strong experience in HTML and CSS.
- Experience with Version Control systems (Git).
- Development in line with accessibility standards compliance and SEO best practices.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Willingness to take ownership of projects.
- Experience using build tools (Gulp, Webpack, Sass).
- Experience with automated deployment and integrating third-party APIs.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in React and JavaScript frameworks.
- Exposure to web security principles.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to ThreeJS and GraphQL.
- Understanding of unit and integration testing.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Assist with new projects and work on the maintenance and development of existing projects.
- Collaborate closely with the wider business team on all projects.
- Develop bespoke WordPress themes (not modifications).
- Ensure that your code produces pixel-perfect, accessible, responsive, secure, and performant results.

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to convey ideas clearly without jargon. We value individuals who enjoy a variety of tasks and can readily switch between technologies. A genuine interest in web technologies, eagerness to learn, and a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with other developers are also essential.
