Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in IP and network infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network security systems
- Familiarity with configuring and supporting CCTV, access control, intercom, and intruder systems
- Knowledge of network-related issues, including IP addressing and VLAN configuration
- Basic understanding of firewall configurations and wireless access points
- Experience maintaining technical documentation and configuration records
- Ability to work safely on live commercial and construction sites
- Comfortable liaising with manufacturers, vendors, and IT teams
Responsibilities
- Configure and support IP networks for fire and security systems
- Integrate CCTV, access control, intercom, and intruder systems within client networks
- Assist installation engineers with network setup and testing
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues
- Support network infrastructure including switches and basic firewalls
- Assist with system configuration and firmware updates
- Maintain technical documentation and network details
- Work in compliance with health and safety requirements
- Support security management platforms such as Gallagher and Hikvision
Description
