Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates with a proven Senior Development background, ideally with public sector experience. The successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience in setting technology direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, complex, production-ready software.
- Familiarity with government strategies, though this is not essential.
- Confidence in their abilities; candidates should be forward-thinking and capable of taking on the role and responsibilities with minimal guidance.
- Experience in microservice development and containerization, preferably with Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of APIs.
- Full-stack development experience, covering at least two of the following: Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience in implementing security measures, including authentication, authorization, and SSO.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will set the technology direction, manage development processes, and contribute to the overall strategy for projects within the public sector. Your expertise in microservices, APIs, and cloud services will be critical in shaping our development efforts.
Description
This position is a hybrid role based in London, requiring attendance for 2-3 days per week. The contract duration is 9 months, with a daily rate of £650, inside IR35. We look forward to welcoming innovative thinkers who are ready to make a significant impact in the public sector with us.
