Must:
- High school diploma or GCSE equivalent
- 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- 2-3 years of audio-visual experience required
- Strong understanding of video signal distribution systems (Lightware, Blackmagic, etc.)
- Proficient in configuring and setting up standard Video Control Switching systems (Barco E2/S3)
- Ability to rig and align multiple projection systems
- Knowledge of LED screen assembly and control processors (Absen/GLUX/Novastar COEX)
- Understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (VLAN management/IPMX/NDI)
- Strong leadership skills and ability to run a team
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of department planning software (Easyjob/Vectorworks/Lucidchart)
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate audio-visual systems for varying event sizes
- Configure and setup video control switching systems
- Rig and align projection systems using manual and software controls
- Build and repair LED screens and their control processors
- Ensure prompt and accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them swiftly
- Comply with company security and safety measures
- Provide exceptional customer service to exceed client expectations
- Mentor and coach other technicians in delivering top-tier service
- Maintain effective communication and positive relationships with clients
- Monitor events and check in on customer equipment needs
- Utilize department planning software for project preparations
- Manage paperwork and systems entries accurately
- Engage in upselling techniques to drive revenue
