Requirements
Must:
- Excellent IT literacy, fast accurate keyboard skills
- Confident and clear communicator (verbal, written and listening skills)
- Demonstrable organization skills, including time management, prioritization of tasks, and self-motivation
- Professional in manner, approach, appearance, and confidence
- Motivated to learn and disseminate information
- Strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Hard-working and committed, with a sense of humor
- Proven track record in customer service and support
Responsibilities
- Understand the operation of our bespoke software systems, and seek ways to improve reliability and performance
- Take customer calls and resolve enquiries or issues by remotely connecting to customer sites
- Telephone customers to explain functionality, causes, and solutions to problems
- Participate in the out-of-hours support rota (approximately 1 week in 8)
- Escalate issues to your line manager as appropriate
- Maintain a high level of call logging issue quality
- Liaise with customers professionally at all times
- Participate in ongoing training as systems evolve and new features are built
- Ensure the working environment is tidy and professional
- Keep your own technical knowledge up to date
