Requirements
Must:
I am looking for someone with 2 or more years of experience in a related IT role. You should be a great communicator with a customer-focused approach, demonstrating patience and professionalism. It’s essential to have excellent problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities, as well as strong organizational skills. A solid understanding of SQL and the ability to prioritize issues and manage your workload is critical. Experience working with third-party partners or suppliers, or in a supervisory role, would be advantageous. A full UK Driving License and your own transportation to travel to remote offices is a must. Additionally, having a basic understanding of networking VLANs and Office 365 administration experience would be significant advantages.
Responsibilities
As a senior member of our IT Team, you will provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support to colleagues via phone, email, remote assistance, and in person, while working within SLA thresholds. You'll help support, configure, and develop our ERP solution used for the company’s core operations. You’ll lead and mentor less experienced team members once you reach an advanced level with our ERP solution. You will also lead minor projects to integrate or develop security tools, implement networking changes, introduce new software, and prepare new branches for opening. Collaboration with other departments will be key, as you’ll use technology to improve operations in our branches and at the Support Centre. You will also work on developing business intelligence to support decision-making in sales, purchasing, transport, and stock control, and handle active directory and domain administration.
