Application Support Engineer

- A methodological approach to the introduction of new software, applications, and services; project management experience or qualifications are beneficial. - Thorough administrator-level understanding of Windows 10 and Server 2016, including experience with Windows registry and file system. - Proficient in Microsoft Group Policies and Active Directory scripting using tools like PowerShell. - Experience with Windows 10 support and patch management using WSUS, LANDesk, or equivalent desktop management tools. - Experience working in a Citrix 7.x environment. - Knowledge and practical experience in application packaging, customization, and deployment methodologies. - Familiarity with application virtualization (App-V) on Windows 10 with centralized management. - Experience delivering engineering tools application support, particularly with Autodesk and Catia, is advantageous. - Experience in server management and knowledge of VMware is a plus. - Experience with deployment and customization of Microsoft Office 2016, 2019, and later versions. - Experience in contributing to the development of deployment services, especially in technical methodologies, best practices, policies, and procedures. - Proficiency in systems management using Ivanti or SCCM as the deployment infrastructure. - Knowledge and experience with ITSM/ITIL V3 Reference model. - Strong logical diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
