Requirements
Must:
- Qualifications such as MCSA, AZs & ITIL would be highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS (10 & 11).
- Demonstrable experience with Azure & Intune.
- Excellent PC problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of Windows Server OS.
- Experience with Active Directory setup and troubleshooting and all associated services.
- Good understanding of virtualization concepts.
- Good understanding of the networking stack, TCP/IP, and subnetting.
- Comfortable with a range of backup products, including VM-level solutions; knowledge of deployment solutions such as WDS is essential.
- Experience with MDT and/or SCCM is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of managed wireless solutions (Ruckus advantageous), including 802.1X security and guest/BYOD networks.
- Knowledge of mobile devices (iOS, Android) and their integration with Windows networks.
- Strong experience dealing with Office 365, Exchange 365, and Papercut.
- Experience with web filtering products (LGFL, Smoothwall, Sonicwall, Websense).
- Familiarity with Sophos Enterprise Console and other managed antivirus systems.
- Previous experience within the education sector or managing service providers (MSPs) is beneficial.
- Professional, customer service-oriented, solutions-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical support to education sector customers.
- Ensure continuity and efficiency while enhancing ICT networks.
- Manage and maintain client network environments.
- Build key relationships with technical contacts at client sites and third parties.
