Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Architect with over 7 years of experience in Technical Architecture, preferably within the insurance market. Experience in the Lloyd's London market is a plus, though general insurance or financial services experience is also considered valuable.
You should have extensive expertise in software development architecture, integration, and technical architecture design. Proficiency in API implementations, Message Queues, and Event Driven Architecture is essential, particularly with Azure Service Bus and Kafka. You should also possess expert skills in RESTful API design and API Gateway management, along with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools.
A deep familiarity with the Azure platform, including IaaS and PaaS, is crucial, as is extensive experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Storage.
Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will define blueprints and standards for connecting our core systems and applications. You will work to ensure security, scalability, data integrity, and performance across our technology landscape.
You'll be responsible for defining an enterprise-wide integration strategy and providing technical insight while collaborating with our Change, Technology, and Data teams on platform architecture and implementations. You'll also engage in technical design and governance and translate strategy into a phased and implementable architecture roadmap.
