Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Azure cloud engineering and support
- Hands-on skills with Azure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling like Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including cluster configuration and container lifecycle management
- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and observability tools
- Azure certifications are a bonus but not essential with relevant experience
- Experience with Docker is a bonus
- Experience with the HashiCorp ecosystem is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure Cloud architecture using PaaS, SQL, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Work closely with other teams on the integration and delivery of cloud solutions
- Help maintain and implement new cloud security controls
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams on cloud security best practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize AKS environments
- Ensure cluster configuration and container lifecycle management aligns with best practices
- Use experience in cloud networking and security to secure environments
- Manage IAM and key management systems across Azure
Description
We are a leading professional services client located near Swanley, seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our newly created team on a permanent basis. This position offers hybrid working, allowing you to spend 1-3 days in the office each week. We value strong Azure skills and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
